The Mosaic Law was never meant for Gentile Believers. Read Galatians 3. Paul berated the Gentiles for allowing people to convince them that they needed to be under the Law.
And according to Galatians 3:24-26 once the Jews came to faith in Christ, they were no longer under the schoolmaster, the Law.
In Romans 7, verses 1-4, Paul compares those who are saved and going to the house of the Law to adulterers.
Amazing that so many want to keep certain parts of the Law, picking and choosing which ones they should keep, when the Bible says it was never meant for them. Galatians 3 says if you want to keep the Law, you must keep all of it... all 613 commands.
Do you make yearly trips to Israel to give your tithes to the Levites in the cities there as the Word of Go commands? Do you eat a second tithe in the streets of Jerusalem each year at the Feast of Tabernacles as the Law proscribed? Do you give your tithes to the widows, orphans and foreigners in Israel every three years as the Law requires?
"Let's see now... The Law says pay a tenth. I can do that. The Law says that the tenth is to be agricultural. Hmmm, I'm not a Farmer. What to do?.. Oh, I know, I'll pay money instead. The Law said the tenth is to be taken to the Levite in Israel. I can't afford to fly to Israel!!! I'll just give it to my Church. At least I'm giving the tenth, right?"
No! If you insist on obeying God's tithe command, at least have the decency and respect for Him to tithe in the manner He decreed.
Something tells me you don't. So don't judge me for not keeping the Law that you yourself are guilty of not keeping. Doesn't fly in your favor.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged...
